Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch, non-invasive treatment
for people of all ages. Craniosacral Therapy or CST works with
your parasympathetic nervous system (the rest and digest part of your nervous system) and your connective tissue to create a deep sense of ease, health and vitality in the body.
The Craniosacral System is compromised of the brain, spinal cord and entire nervous system, the protective layers around the brain and spinal cord and the cerebrospinal fluid. This cerebrospinal fluid acts not only as a cushion for the brain and spinal cord but new research is showing that it is very similar to the lymphatic system for the brain and spinal cord. Healthy cerebrospinal fluid is essential for a healthy nervous system.
Our Craniosacral Therapists are Upledger Certified assuring you complete confidence in their training, understanding and execution of the techniques.
What will I notice?
Our clients notice a spectrum of benefits. The most common benefit they experience is a deep sense of relaxation. Craniosacral Therapy works to turn on your parasympathetic nervous system and turn off your sympathetic nervous system. In other words, it turns on the "rest and digest" part of your nervous system and turns off the "fight or flight".
We have clients that report less stress or the ability to manage stress better. Pain relief, especially from chronic pain. Improved mental clarity and reduction of brain fog. An ability to feel more connect to others, less isolated or depressed.
It is very common to have clients report a reduction in headaches, migraines and TMJ pain.
The best thing about Craniosacral Therapy is that it works with YOUR body and exactly what YOUR body needs.

Benefits of Craniosacral Therapy:
Check out our Pediatric Craniosacral page
for more information specific to how this technique can help the little ones in your life.
How does it work?
Craniosacral Therapists are taught to use no more than 5 grams of pressure, about the weight of a nickle. Although at first this may seem to be too little pressure to be effective, the body responds well to this light touch.
Your Craniosacral Therapist will begin by assessing your craniosacral rhythm. This gives them a lot of information about the health and function of your craniosacral system. They will also work with your body to release any fascial restrictions through your diaphragms as well as an restrictions through the cranial sutures. All of this is done with you fully clothed and using no more than 5 grams of pressure.
